What does it mean to be carbon neutral?

For us, it means manufacturing our batteries in a carbon neutral facility and offsetting CO2 emissions released by the production, distribution, and disposal of our batteries. We also invest in carbon reducing projects like wind farms, tree planting and truck stop electrification through carbonfund.org.

I lost my poly mailer. What now?

No sweat. You can return your used Better Batteries in any poly mailer or shipping container accepted by FedEx.

Where else can I buy Better Batteries?

Right now, Better Battery is exclusively sold online. Which means you stay in the comfort of your home and we’ll bring them right to your doorstep.

How can I sign up for the mailing list?

There’s a link to sign up in the footer of this website. We look forward to writing you.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

In the footer of every email there’s an unsubscribe option. We know nothing lasts forever, but before you go, we just want to say that we’ll miss you, friend.

If I ordered from Amazon, how do I send my box for recycling?

You are able to ship your box for recycling regardless of where you ordered your Better Battery Co. batteries. To download your shipping label for BBCo battery boxes purchased through Amazon, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit our “Amazon Recycling” page
  2. Input your Amazon order number to the “Order Number” field
  3. Download the PDF shipping label
  4. Print, package, and ship -- you’re all done!

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship within the U.S., but just like everything we do, we’re looking to the future. So, check back to see when we ship to your country.

How much does shipping cost?

FedEx Standard (5 to 7 business days) - Free shipping

FedEx Expedited* (3 to 4 business days) - $3.99

*Expedited shipping is available exclusively for Add-on Packs added to your initial subscription order.

Can I change my shipping address?

What kind of friends would we be if we said no?

Email us right away at hello@betterbattery.co with your name, order number, and correct shipping address so we can catch your shipment before it’s been dispatched.

How do I track my order?

We’ll send you an email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.

How to ship the box for recycling?

We make it easy to use “disposable” batteries, without the waste in sending these common convenience items into local landfills, once depleted. Rather, we ship our batteries in a handy reusable box, and include a prepaid mailer, which allows you to send depleted batteries directly to our recycling partner Call2recycle after your batteries are used up. Here’s how:

  1. Log into your BBCo. account.
  2. Download and print your free FedEx shipping label, located under the “Manage Subscriptions” section of the page.
  3. Repack the box with your depleted batteries. We recommend replacing depleted batteries in their original slots, and please do not include any metals, extra batteries, or other foreign objects in the box.
  4. Package the box.
    • Place the full box of depleted batteries in the poly mailer.
    • Tape the shipping label to the mailer.
    • Seal the package.
  5. Drop off the box at your nearest FedEx drop box or store.
How to change your subscription frequency or shipping date?

If you feel that you need more -- or less -- battery shipments, you can change your shipping date to align with your needs. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your BBCo. account.
  2. Click on “Manage Your Subscription Here.”
  3. Click on “Active Subscriptions” and choose the subscription you wish to modify.
  4. To change your ship date, click on “Next Order” and then select the date you choose to have your subscription sent out. Your package will arrive within 5 - 7 business days.
  5. You will be charged once the package ships.
    1. NOTE: Please make sure any changes are requested at least 30 days in advance of your scheduled shipping date or changes may not be accommodated.

How do I print the return shipping label for recycling?

Once you are ready to print your shipping label and send them for recyling, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log into your BBCo. account.
  2. Under the "Order History section", find your order and click the "Print Label" button
  3. Download and print your free FedEx shipping label
  4. Package your batteries in the original box and drop them off at your nearest FedEx store or drop off location!

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Diners Club.

Returns + Refunds

What is your refund policy?

Uh oh, is this the ‘we need to talk’ talk? We’ll start.

Our return policy applies for 30 days after purchase. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be unused and in the same condition and packaging as you received it – safety seal still intact. Proof of purchase is required. 

Once we’ve received and inspected the item, we’ll send a confirmation email letting you know if your refund has been approved or declined. If approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow a few days for processing.

What do I do if my batteries are defective or damaged?

How do you return a box to BBCo?
